Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by DG Tuning NI ("we," "us," or "our") to you, the customer. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services Provided
We offer vehicle tuning services, including ECU remapping, DPF cleaning, and hydrogen carbon cleaning. Our services are designed to enhance vehicle performance within manufacturer tolerances.
3. Vehicle Condition
It is your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy, well-maintained, and mechanically sound condition before we undertake any work. Vehicles that are poorly maintained, contain underlying faults, or have high mileage are at significantly higher risk of failure during or after tuning.
We accept no liability for any damage or mechanical issues that occur as a result of pre-existing conditions, hidden faults, or poor maintenance, including but not limited to:
-
Turbocharger failure
-
Injector failure
-
EGR/DPF malfunction
-
Overheating
-
Clutch or transmission failure
We may carry out a basic pre-inspection, but this should not be seen as a comprehensive mechanical check or diagnostic. It is not guaranteed to identify all underlying issues.
If we advise against proceeding with tuning due to suspected mechanical risks and you decide to continue, you do so entirely at your own risk.
4. Stage One Tuning
Stage One tuning files provided by DG Tuning NI are designed to stay within the safe parameters set by the manufacturer and will not harm a mechanically sound and well-maintained vehicle. However, any damage resulting from underlying or undisclosed issues is not our responsibility.
5. Dyno Testing
A dynamometer ("dyno") is a high-stress environment for an engine. DG Tuning NI accepts no liability for any damage caused to engines, gearboxes, clutches, or associated components while the vehicle is undergoing dyno testing.
You acknowledge and accept that dyno operation pushes vehicles to maximum performance and may expose or accelerate failures due to pre-existing wear or defect.
6. Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from our services. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
7. Warranty
We do not provide a warranty for our tuning services. Any issues arising after the service should be reported to us promptly, and we will assess them on a case-by-case basis.
IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE SERVICES
Reporting Issues
If there is an issue with the services or software provided:
-
Notify us as soon as reasonably possible.
-
Allow us the opportunity to investigate and correct the issue within 60 days.
-
Third-Party Work
We will not cover costs or accept liability for work carried out by a third party without giving us the opportunity to rectify the issue ourselves first.
Where authorised in writing, and only after providing three written quotes, we may reimburse third-party work at our discretion.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We make no representation that our services will not void a manufacturer’s or third-party warranty. It is your responsibility to check with your insurer and warranty provider before proceeding.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
